Established in 2021 by partners David and Sophie, along with Sam and Jess, New England Highlands is nestled in the picturesque region of Armidale, New South Wales. The Highland breed captured our hearts with its gentle temperament and distinctive characteristics, leading us to focus on this unique breed. 

At New England Highlands, we are dedicated to preserving the heritage and identity of the Highland breed. As registered breeders with the Australian Highland Cattle Society, we focus on nurturing cattle with calm temperaments and true to type characteristics.

Our breeding program features fully imported bloodlines, with pedigrees that trace back to the original UK Herdbook. Through a highly selective process, we ensure that our purebred cattle consistently meet and exceed industry standards, delivering superior beef while respecting the breed's storied history.

We are committed to continuous improvement, regularly enhancing our genetics through ongoing research and by importing top-tier bloodlines. This dedication to quality helps us preserve the integrity of the Highland breed.
